The PPN members from the Ashbourne Municipal District met last night. This was a great opportunity for groups from the area to network and to discuss the issues that are impacting on their communities.

The issues raised included the lack of open spaces and play places within the area, facilities for clubs, insurance cover, health and safety, increase in crime, getting more people involved in volunteering, upkeep of estates, housing, pyrite and public transport.

The groups also shared information on the work that their groups are involved in and the positive impact that this has in their community.
