At this live webinar,  you will hear from people who are blind or vision impaired  about their experience of having their voices heard in the public policy conversations that affects their right to live independent lives.

Their stories of stepping into representative positions, often with no previous experience will inspire you. They are sometimes the only voice of disability at the table where the decisions made affect a multitude of people with disabilities. Their experiences will show you that while advocating for people can come with its challenges, the outcomes often out way the obstacles. Come along to hear first-hand about how their roles and work in advocacy has helped them to grow their skills and meet new people that they can work with to achieve positive change.
