National Biodiversity Week is underway with free events every day! Could you please share with your groups or on social media?

There are lots of inspiring events happening all week, with fun things to do and lots to learn. Have a look at the calendar to browse events.

This weekend we are hosting a Backyard Bioblitz. Explore your local area to discover fabulous flora and fauna. Ecologists and wildlife experts will be on hand to identify your finds. Tag us in your photo on Twitter @IrishEnvNet or Instagram @national.biodiversity.week with #BackyardBioblitz.

For younger people (or people young at heart!) we have a Biodiversity Scavenger Hunt. Can you find all the critters on the hunt? Tag and share online to be in with a chance to win a prize from the National Biodiversity Data Centre.
