Artist in the Community Scheme Awards 2025
Deadline: 31 March, 5pm
 
The Arts Council’s Artist in the Community (AIC) Scheme, managed by Create, offers awards to enable artists and communities of place and/or interest to work together to create exceptional art. 

Applications are now open for Artist in the Community Scheme Awards 2025. This includes the following awards: Research and Development Award (without mentoring) Research and Development Award (with Mentoring) Recent Graduate Research and Development Award (with Mentoring) Project Realisation Award  



Creative Places Tuam Cultural Growth Fund
Deadline: 4 April, 12pm

Creative Places Tuam with support from Galway County Council Arts Service is now launching the Cultural Growth Fund with a total sum of €20,000 available. This fund is open to arts organisations and groups, community organisations and groups, individual artists, individuals from the community, and creative and cultural practitioners base in Tuam.  



Catalyst Residency with Create & Fire Station Artists’ Studios 2025
Deadline: 7 April, 5pm

Catalyst Residency, offered in partnership between Create and Fire Station Artists’ Studios (FSAS), offers a socially engaged artist from an under-represented ethnic background a one-month residency in Dublin 1 during June 2025. The residency is intended as an artist-led incubation period which allows them to develop their practice and their networks with targeted support from the residency partners.  



AIC Case Studies: Points of Encounter

Points of Encounter is a collaborative project between artist Silvina Sisterna and the Nepantla Collective, running from 2023 to 2024. This initiative delves into the collective and individual experiences of Latin American women in Ireland using photography, filming and poetry.

Marketing & Digital Communications Officer, Dublin Fringe Festival

Festival Director, Glasgow International, UK

Glasgow International is recruiting a Festival Director to join the team on a full-time temporary contract. The postholder will provide a key leadership role in taking forward the delivery of Glasgow International, Scotland’s world-renowned biennial festival of contemporary art.  



Co-Producer, Deveron Projects, UK

Deveron Projects are looking for two passionate and practical Co-Producers to join their team in Huntly for at least two years. Working across the organisation, from programme to operations, buildings to communications, the Co-Producers will be essential members of Deveron Projects, creatively and practically co-developing the work they make and how they make it.

Artist in Residence 2025, Sligo Rape Crisis Centre

Sligo Rape Crisis Centre invites Sligo-based artists of any discipline to apply to their inaugural Artist in Residence programme. The selected artist will be invited to spend 6 weeks engaging with SRCC to create work on the theme of ‘consent’.   



Call for Exhibition Proposals 2025 & 2026, Artlink

Artlink’s exhibitions support all visual art media and include both ‘emergent’ and ‘established’ artists based locally, nationally and internationally. It seeks out innovation at home, distinctive and inspiring work from further afield.

This year the award has three strands and new applicants to the Creative Places programme for multi-annual funding must have completed the research-and-development award in this round of funding or in previous rounds of funding. 

Opera Projects and Production Award | Deadline extended: 27 March, 5:30pm
The Opera Projects and Production award is intended to support initiatives by professional practitioners to develop and present opera in three distinct stages.

Artist and Youth Work Residency Scheme | Deadline: 28 March, 12pm
The Artist and Youth Work Residency Grant Scheme is designed to promote innovative partnerships between youth groups, artists and (where relevant) arts organisations. 

Arts in Early Learning and Childcare Scheme | Deadline: 3 April, 5:30pm
The purpose of the Arts in Early Learning and Childcare Scheme 2025 is to provide opportunities for babies and young children to explore and enjoy the arts with the support of artists, early-years educators, school-age practitioners, families and carers. 

Children and Young People’s Arts Residency | Deadline: 3 April, 5:30pm
Children and Young People’s Arts Residency supports artists or arts organisations to spend an academic year in residence in a higher-education institution in Ireland that provides initial teacher education (primary, post-primary or further education) and/or a recognised qualification in early childhood education and care. 

International Residency Initiatives Scheme | Deadline: 3 April, 5:30pm
The purpose of this scheme is to support art organisations in the delivery of residency initiatives and to create opportunities for transnational exchange and cooperation across all art forms. 

Agility Award | Deadline: 24 April, 5:30pm
The Agility Award is for individual professional artists and arts practitioners who have not been previously funded as an individual by the Arts Council.

Individual Artist Bursary Award 2025, South Dublin County Council
Deadline: 3 April, 4pm

SDCC Individual Artist Bursary Award Scheme 2025 invites applications from practicing artists who wish be considered for an award of up to €5,000 to support their professional development. Artists based in South Dublin County administrative area, or operating substantially within South Dublin County, are eligible to apply.   



Áras Éanna Residency, RHA Royal Hibernian Academy of Arts
Deadline: 4 April, 4pm

The RHA School in partnership with Áras Éanna are delighted to offer a visual artist residency on Inis Oírr for the month of July. They welcome applications from visual artists to come and live and work on Inis Oírr and provide up to ten residencies each year.

Temple Bar Gallery + Studios invites applications for two international residency opportunities: 

TBG+S/HIAP International Residency Exchange 2026
It supports an artist based in Ireland or an Irish artist living abroad to spend three months in residence at HIAP, Helsinki, from mid–April to mid–July, 2026.

International Studio & Curatorial Program Residency, New York
It supports visual artists based in Ireland and Irish artists living abroad to spend three months in residence at ISCP from 1 September–30 November 2025. Housed in a former factory in Brooklyn, with 35 light-filled work studios and two galleries, ISCP is New York’s most comprehensive international visual arts residency programme.  



D/deaf and Disabled Artists Support Fund and Digital Innovation Award, University of Atypical, NI
Deadline: 10 April, 4pm

This is an opportunity for artists to buy time to be creative, to develop or produce new contemporary artwork, or engage in activity that develops existing skills or gives them a new type of experience.  


   


Meet the Arts Council: Removing Racism from the Arts

Photography Workshop for Adults with Dave McDonagh

Hugh Lane Gallery is hosting a photography workshop with Traveller photographer and film-maker Dave McDonagh. Participants can use a phone or camera to take different photos and the workshop will offer an insight into Dave’s own particular experience as a photographer.
