A Celebration of Youth Arts and Skills Summary
The SPARK Youth Arts and Skills Summary Celebration Event and closed the 2025 SPARK Youth Arts Festival on Saturday 1st March was a chance for young people, youth workers, and artists to share their youth arts projects with one another and be inspired to tap into their creativity.

Invitation to Tender: mis- and disinformation
We are seeking a qualified researcher to conduct a comprehensive evidence synthesis through a scoping review. The research will explore the topic of misinformation and disinformation affecting young people, identifying key issues, research gaps, and potential areas for further investigation. New on Skills Summary: Helping Young People Develop Creativity and Critical Thinking
We know young people gain valuable skills through youth work and volunteering – but they don’t always know how to recognise or talk about them. Skills Summary is a free, easy to use online tool that helps young people identify and articulate their skills while also enabling youth organisations to measure the impact of their projects. We’ve recently expanded Skills Summary with two important new skill areas: Creativity and Critical Thinking.

Become Ireland’s next UN Youth Delegate, Climate Youth Delegate
Young people from every county are invited to apply for the chance to represent young people living in Ireland, at the UN.
In addition, we are also seeking a representative for young people living in Ireland at COP30 and other exciting national and international climate events.
Please note that these are separate opportunities. Candidates may apply for both the CYD opportunity and Ireland’s UNYD opportunity, but will not be able to hold both positions if successful.

BelongTo: New monthly space for LGBTQ+ youth opens in Dublin
Belong To has opened a new weekend space, ‘Belong To Sundays’, for all LGBTQ+ young people between 14 and 17 years old in Dublin City Centre, on the last Sunday of each month from 2pm to 5pm. This is a space to meet your friends, make new ones, hang out and get something to eat in a free and welcoming environment.

10,000 Irish Girl Guides joined 10.8 million Guides & Scouts worldwide to celebrate World Thinking Day on 22 February. This year’s theme, “Our Story,” invited them to reflect on the history of Guiding and what Guiding means to them.

Voice Ireland MENSY Project: Breaking Taboos & Promoting Sustainable Periods Across Europe

IYF: Coca-Cola Thank You Fund 2025
Coca-Cola are partnering with the Irish Youth Foundation to manage the 2025 Coca-Cola Thank You Fund. A fund of €200,000 is available to community-based projects and programmes across Ireland and Northern Ireland that are focused on empowering young people aged 16-25 year under the areas of inclusion and inspiration.
