ISPCC: Webinar – Recognising and Responding to Digital Abuse: A guide for Parents – March 5th 2025

ISPCC are delighted to share with you information regarding our upcoming FREE webinar Recognising and Responding to Digital Abuse – A guide for Parents on the evening of Wednesday the 5th of March at 7pm.
The ISPCC is a partner in the Irish Safer Internet Centre whose vision is a positive and inclusive digital world where children are safe and protected. The webinar is co-funded by the European Union.
We are very aware in the ISPCC that parents/carers have a lot of fear and anxiety around the dangers that the internet can pose to their young person.
In this webinar we will provide the participants with knowledge and skills on:
- How to recognise the dangers posed to young people online
- How to respond to disclosures of digital abuse
- How to support young people in ensuring they do not become victims of digital abuse
- Legislation governing online abuse
We hope that parents and carers come away feeling more knowledgeable on the topic of Digital Abuse and feel more empowered as a result.
