A project team made up of key stakeholders including Meath County Council, Meath Local Sports Partnership, Meath Partnership, Canoeing Ireland and Coillte has been working with Outscape to identify and draft county priorities for outdoor recreation. The goal is to set achievable actions for the next five years, in line with Ireland’s National Outdoor Recreation Strategy that recommends every county in Ireland develops their own outdoor recreation plan.

This survey aims to measure how important certain topics are to you, with a view to influencing the outdoor recreation plan for Meath. Your opinions are very important for developing a picture of what outdoor recreation is in County Meath.

The survey takes about 10 minutes to fill out and is an opportunity to let us know your views so they can be brought to the project team to help shape the recreation plan. Whether you are a paddler, walker, swimmer, biker, hiker, or none of the above if you are active in nature we want to hear from you.
