NTR Community Benefit Funds 2024: Teevurcher Wind Farm – open until 1st November

The NTR Wind and Solar Farm Community Benefit Funds are open from now until Friday 1st November 2024.

The NTR Wind and Solar Farm Community Benefit Funds provides an excellent opportunity for local community groups to develop projects in proximity to NTR wind farms. If you are unsure about a possible project, please get in touch with us and we will do our best to advise.

In response to the community consultation completed in 2023, applicants to the Boolard & Rathnacally, Co. Cork and Altaveedan Wind Farm, Co Antrim must apply under the theme of Active Age, Facilities and Services. Groups are encouraged to apply for projects under the theme, this can include facility upgrades, community events, services, and equipment etc. specifically, to benefit the active age community members. In response to the community consultation completed in 2023, applicants to the Ora More Wind Farm, Co Fermanagh, must apply under the theme of ‘Youth Facilities and Services’. Groups are encouraged to apply for projects under the theme, this can include facility upgrades, community events, services, and equipment etc. specifically, to benefit youth community members. With regards to large community infrastructure projects, it is possible to submit an application requesting funding on a multi annual basis.  If your group decides to submit a project of this nature, please ensure you give a clear explanation of the proposed funding model, and of project impact.  It would be hugely beneficial to discuss potential multi annual projects with SECAD in advance, so we can help guide your application.
