MOVE Ireland run behaviour change programmes for male perpetrators of domestic abuse, and also offer a support service to their (ex) partners. We have been in Meath for the past 12 years, running a programme called “Choices” which combines one to one and group work.

We are raising awareness of Move Ireland and the Choices programme in Meath over the next few weeks through;

  • The dissemination of our “better than this” posters and leaflets to relevant agencies and places where men may attend for other support services,
  • The delivery of training/information sessions to frontline staff who may come across men who would benefit from our programme.

A virtual information session will take place on Tuesday January 25th from 10-11am via zoom and  will consist of a brief presentation and a chance to meet and ask questions about the program. To attend please email  fionnuala@moveireland.ie.

2 free training events are being offered as follows:

THURSDAY 27th JANUARY 10am-12 NOON  “TALKING TO MEN”- SKILLS for frontline professionals. (Focus on sharing skills for recognising and engaging with men who may be abusive, to motivate them to seek help)
