NCBI Advocacy Networks

Would you like to get involved in positive change for people who are blind, or vision  impaired at a local and  national level?

The National Council for the Blind in Ireland have developed Advocacy Networks which are open to new members.  Regular updates are also issued to the National Advocacy Network mailing list.

Please find information below on the networks below:

 

National Advocacy Network (NAN)– our national mailing list keeping you up to date on advocacy, campaigns and policy matters. Sign up online to join the National Advocacy Network mailing list by clicking this link: Advocacy Newsletter Signup – NCBI, email campaigns@ncbi.ie, or call 01-830 7033 and ask for the advocacy team.

 

Local Advocacy Networks (LAN) – become an advocate! Join regional groups of people who are blind or vision impaired who come together to identify and remove barriers to access for people who are blind or vision impaired in their local communities. Check in and Chat – our weekly catchup for people who are blind or vision impaired across Ireland. Two hourly sessions from 11am-1pm take place every Thursday on this zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/99048628214. Drop in and stay for a chat and stay as for as long as you want.

Join a Local Advocacy Network near you and sign up for the National Advocacy Network by emailing campaigns@ncbi.ie or tel: 01 830 7033 and ask for the Advocacy Team.
