Talking Art Printed Resources
This new programme encourages active engagement and conversation, prompting participants to share their thoughts and opinions on IMMA artworks with a printable ‘Talking Art with IMMA’ resource pack. These printed resource packs will highlight a selected work from the IMMA Collection, accompanied with a range of conversational prompts that form a guided way of exploring artworks. These conversational prompts can be followed alone, with family and friends, or used by Activity Coordinators within nursing home or other residential settings with residents.
The resources Can be downloaded directly from the website or Hard copies can be sent by post to Nursing Homes and Care facilities by emailing quantities to Catherine.Abbott@imma.ie

Talking Art Online
Older people from all over Ireland are invited to join us for this online arts experience. Take a close look at selected artworks from the IMMA Collection and discuss IMMA exhibitions with our Visitor Engagement Team from the comfort of your living room!
All are welcome to sign up for this free programme, no previous experience required.
The twice monthly session will be led virtually through Zoom starting on January 19th.

Armchair Azure
Armchair Azure is a free online experience designed for people living with dementia and their families and friends. During Armchair Azure, you will explore a selection of artwork from IMMA’s Collection with a facilitator who has received special training in dementia-inclusive arts programming. Armchair Azure is facilitated online via Zoom three times per month from January 19th.

Slow Looking Art Videos
Through a series of accessibly produced (captioned, audio-described) videos, participants are invited watch a guided exploration of a selected artwork from the IMMA Collection. This can made directly available to Nursing Home Activity Coordinators in residential facilities through various networks and IMMA’s website and social media channels.
