Meath LSP is currently developing our new strategy – “Active Meath 2020 – 2025” and have created a short survey to capture your feedback. Meet n’Train – Taster Session
Meet n’Train is a new programme that includes a variety of cardio, core and strength exercises. This 1 hour class is a one stop shop to fitness. Classes will be available around the county from January but we have some FREE taster sessions taking place in December giving you the opportunity to try it out. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. Open to men and women 18 years +. Suitable for complete beginners and all fitness levels.
Taster Sessions:
* Monday 7th December at 7-8pm in Claremont Stadium, Navan
* Monday 14th December at 7-8pm in Claremont Stadium, Navan

Buggy Buddies
Buggy Buddies is a 6-week tutor led programme with a mix of walking and toning exercises. New mothers and carers of children are welcome. This is a great way to meet with new people and create friendships while being active. A new 6 week programme will start on Wednesday 2nd December at 9.30am-10.30am in Blackwater Park, Navan. The remaining 4 weeks of the programme to be completed in the New Year. Spaces are limited and will be on a first come first served basis!

Come Fly a Kite with Meath LSP!!
Experience the great outdoors as a family! Kite flying is a great activity to enjoy together and is suitable for all! Sign up to “Come Fly a Kite with Meath LSP” for just €10!
Included in cost:
• Online workshop
• Hints/tips on how to fly a kite
• Build your own kite pack (includes everything you need to build a kite(s)
You and your family will be guided through a live online workshop on how to build you own kite using your pack provided. You will be encouraged to design your own kite, build the kites and do a test flight as a family outside your family home!

Basketball for Women in East Meath Area
Meath LSP are currently taking expressions of interest for a women & teenage girls basketball programme in conjunction with East Coast Cavaliers Basketball Club in the East Meath area – Laytown, Bettystown, Gormanston etc.
A taster session is planned for December, with a programme beginning in the new year targeted specifically at women and teenage girls. Spaces are limited and will be on a first come basis! Walk n Tone – Gentle exercises for over 55’s
Meath LSP are starting Walk n’ Tone taster sessions for adults 55+ starting from 1st December in a number of areas. Under supervision, participants will get the opportunity to try 30 minutes of outdoor gentle exercises incorporated with walking. All programmes are delivered whilst adhering to current HSE guidelines. Don’t miss out on a space as numbers are limited. CARA Centre Live Broadcast
To celebrate International Day for People with Disabilities on Thursday 3rd December, join CARA Centre for a FREE informative and interactive online live broadcast ‘Adapting – How Change Creates Opportunities’. Cara, in association with Sport Ireland, are delighted to host this live online event which will include a morning of interviews, panel discussions and personal stories from special guests! It will focus on how small changes to facilities, mindsets and practices can create life changing opportunities for people with disabilities through sport and physical activity!
