National Family Support Network Young Person’s Support Programme
National Family Support Network Young Person’s Support Programme
The National Family Support Network have developed a programme to support young people living with substance misuse in the home.
The Young Persons’ Support Programme is designed to respond to the needs and risks faced by children living with problem substance users.
- The programme aims to develop resilience, coping and relationship development skills through peer group facilitation.
- The programme is designed for delivery over 10 sessions by 2 facilitators active in frontline youth work.
The National Family Support Network hope that the programme will provide a resource to youth projects and services, drug projects and family resource centres in their efforts to support this group of young people in the community.
