CLÁR funding scheme (Measure 3(a): Meals on Wheels and linked service

With regard to the CLÁR funding scheme (Measure 3(a): Meals on Wheels and linked service), this Department is pleased to advise that an adjustment has been made to the scheme outline.

Eligibility has been extended to provide for funding to Meals on Wheels services that do not operate from a CLÁR area but provide a service to people based in CLÁR areas.

It will be necessary for applicants to demonstrate that over 50% of their normal clientele using the service reside within CLÁR DED’s. A listing of eligible CLÁR DED’s is available on the Department’s website and from CLAR@DRCD.gov.ie.

This information was previous issued only to PPNs located in CLÁR areas, but is now relevant to all PPNs due to the expansion of the eligibility criteria.

Please note that the closing date for Measure 3(a) has been extended to 11 September 2020.
