Running as part of Saolta this Autumn, a Training of Trainers course will offer Adult and Community Education Practitioners across Ireland an opportunity to deepen their understanding of Development Education in Ireland, to develop an idea on how (and why) to implement it in their daily practice, and to explore pathways to lead transformative change in Ireland.

There are 15 places available on this training course. Priority will be given to practitioners in the North East of Ireland. The total cost of the training course is €40 (the remainder is funded by Irish Aid). Currently the course is being planned as an in-person training (based in the North East with travel allowance available) however due to Covid it may be moved to an online training. Lunch will be provided on all three training days. This course is not QQI recognised however all participants will receive a certificate of participation on successful completion.

All the information needed about this training can be found here along with the application form https://www.developmentperspectives.ie/training-of-trainers.

The closing date for applications is the 11th of September.
