Community Enhancement Programme 2020
Applications are now being invited for the Community Enhancement Programme 2020
The Community Enhancement Programme is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and will provide €62,883 of grant funding for capital works towards enhancing the facilities available to communities in County Meath and address disadvantaged areas in the county.
Typical enhancements under the Programme include the renovation of community centres and community amenities, improvements to town parks and common areas and spaces, and the purchase of equipment for community usage. The Programme has also supported energy efficient upgrades, development of community gardens, provision of defibrillators, CCTV, and sports and IT equipment.
The CEP is being administered by Meath Local Community Development Committee (LCDC).
The project must benefit the local community and relate to a priority identified in the Meath Local Economic Community Plan (LECP) in order to be eligible for consideration.
The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 5.00pm Friday the 28th of August 2020.
