Re: Proposed Ballivor Wind Farm
PPN_Ballivor Wind Farm Brochure
Dear Public Participation Network Member Group,
Following on from our Community Information Sessions held in March, please find enclosed a
project brochure.
This brochure was available at the Information Sessions and contains information
regarding the proposed Ballivor Wind farm. Due to COVID -19 restrictions we were not in a position
distribute this to you until now.
As the proposed development is at an early stage the number and location of turbines has not yet
been determined. Subject to Covid 19 restrictions, we hope to hold another round of Community
Information Sessions in local halls/community centres in the Autumn with more detailed information
– such as the number and location of turbines – available.
In the meantime, please find enclosed the following documentation:
1. Project Information Brochure;
2. A feedback sheet should you wish to submit any comments/suggestions or identify other
people/groups who should be included on the circulation list for project updates;
3. A form should you not wish to receive further related information on the proposed
development;
4. A consent form to sign up to our postal system should we not be able to call directly to your
home;
5. A freepost envelope.
A copy of this letter is being circulated to all homes within a 1.5km radius of the boundary of the
Ballivor Group of bogs. It will also be circulated to Meath and Westmeath Public Participation
Network for distribution to Community Groups in the vicinity of the proposed development to inform
them of the proposed project.
A dedicated project website has been launched to provide information on the proposed project –
www.ballivorwindfarm.ie.
In the meantime, if you would like any further information please contact
our Community Liaison Officers – James on 087-7087022 or Niall on 087-9951174 or via ballivorwindfarm@bnm.ie
Yours faithfully,
Ballivor Wind Farm Communications Team
