Fighting Blindness: Supports and Resources to the Community
Throughout the recent health crisis, the support service within Fighting Blindness have continued to run their various groups, using technology to provide individuals the opportunity to continue learning, connecting and supporting each other. We hold virtual coffee mornings, mindfulness classes and tech. groups and have online training courses also. New Reach Out Service
Our Reach Out Service offers people living with sight loss a regular phone call to help them stay connected. A member of our support team will check in on how they’re coping and provide help to find appropriate resources.To find out more : Tel: 01 674 6496 or email insight@fightingblindness.ie.

Free counselling service for people living with sight loss
Our Need to Talk programme offers free support to adults and young people (over the age of eleven) who are blind or partially sighted, and anyone who supports a person with sight loss. It is specifically targeted to the counties of Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Cavan, Monaghan and Louth. At present the counselling is been offered by telephone.
We also offer counselling services through our Insight Counselling service for the rest of Ireland.
