DUNSHAUGHLIN Armistice Day Centenary
On 11th November, Dunshaughlin Historical Society, with the involvement of students from the Community College will mark the ending of the Great War a century ago. At Dunshaughlin Courthouse at 11 o’clock, bells will ring in the village followed by a two minute silence and a short ceremony to respectfully remember those who died on all sides of World War 1. Immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Hall there will be a display and short talks on the local war experience with music from that time and refreshments.
